Leather Care

Tumbled Cowhide

- Cowhide is one of the most widely used leathers, offering a balance of durability and flexibility. It has a slightly looser grain than horsehide, giving it a softer hand and a bit more give, while still offering excellent wear resistance. This cowhide has undergone a “Tumbling" process, softening the leather further and creating a distinctive grainy texture.

- Conditioning helps maintain suppleness and prevent drying or stiffening. Apply a small amount of neutral leather conditioner when the leather starts to feel dry or loses its luster — usually every 6–12 months depending on use. Work the conditioner in with a soft cloth and buff off any excess to avoid buildup, which can dull the surface or attract dirt

- For cleaning, wipe with a dry or lightly dampened cloth to remove dust and grime. For more stubborn dirt, a small amount of mild soap can be used with water — just make sure to test on a hidden area first. Never soak the leather. If the leather gets wet, blot gently and allow it to naturally dry at room temperature, away from heat sources, then condition if needed to restore moisture
