7_oz Recycled Cotton Denim Western Shirt - Indigo

In striving towards more eco-conscious production methods, one area we’re exploring is the use of recycled materials. The 7oz denim used here is woven from recycled cotton, reclaimed from offcuts and waste fabric, byproducts of the Japanese garment industry. Where ordinarily this textile waste would be incinerated, the fabrics are shredded before the fibres are re-spun into recycled cotton yarns. As the yarns produced comprise very fine fibres, once woven they result in a fabric that is softer, looser, and more pliable than our other denim at the equivalent weight, displaying a characterful neppy texture and appearance.

Bearing all the hallmarks of our western cut, this lightweight, breathable shirt is ideal for year-round wear, featuring traditional western-style yokes and heavy-duty snap fastenings, and finished with contrast stitching and internal yellow bobbin thread for a subtle splash of colour.
