Made from 10oz Japanese Wabash, this short-sleeved shirt pairs a lighter-weight take on a classic heritage fabric with the retro styling of our mechanic cut. Wabash-style denim dates back to the 19th century, a rugged workwear fabric commonly worn by the vast workforce of the US Railroad. Our Wabash is woven using rope-dyed yarns, with the defining dotted pattern bleached into the fabric post-weave. This allows the yarns to fade and evolve with vintage character, while the dots remain prominent. Offering a relaxed, well-ventilated fit, this shirt bears all the hallmarks of our traditional mechanic cut—with features including snap fastenings, flap-down chest pockets, a straight hem and split seam gussets for enhanced mobility.
