This unique model introduces a new style for FW26, combining the casual silhouette of a hooded sweater with the leather construction typical of our rider’s jackets. Sourced from Himeji, the tanning capital of Japan, the leather used here is a chrome-tanned 1.3mm cowhide, which has been heavily oiled to provide improved waterproofing for the wearer and long-term protection for the leather. More supple than the horsehide typically used in our rider’s jackets, the oiling process further softens the leather, resulting in an incredibly smooth, buttery feel that will mold to the wearer's body over time.

As this jacket is designed to offer a fit more akin to one of our heavyweight sweaters, it’s fitted with a water-resistant Japanese Ventile lining for comfort, an overspec’d two-way zipper, pouch-style pockets at the waist, and knitted cuffs and hem for a windproof seal.

Fabric Focus

Waterproof Leather

- Crust leather that has been dyed and heavily oiled and treated to increase it's waterproof qualities and give and soft, supple hand feel

- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. For light dirt, use a slightly damp cloth with a mild soap, but avoid excessive moisture. If it does get wet, blot the leather dry with a cloth and leave to air dry naturally — never dry with a heater or hairdryer
