This version of our classic work shirt is made from 5oz Japanese double gauze fabric, one of the most intriguing fabrics in the Iron Heart SS25 lineup. Offering two distinct textures, this unique cloth is created by combining contrasting weaving styles on the same loom. The face employs a technique known in Japan as “Panama” weaving, designed to create a loose, ventilated fabric for hotter climates. This is intricately intertwined with a tighter plain weave, resulting in an incredibly soft, smooth reverse that provides maximum comfort against the skin. As the fabric is woven with indigo-dyed yarns, the appearance of this lightweight, highly breathable summer shirt will gradually fade and evolve, emphasising the characteristics of the exceptional weave.

- Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
