12_oz Recycled Cotton Denim Wide Work Pants - Indigo

In striving towards more eco-conscious production methods, one area we’re exploring is the use of recycled materials. The 12oz denim used here is woven from recycled cotton, reclaimed from offcuts and waste fabric, byproducts of the Japanese garment industry. Where ordinarily this textile waste would be incinerated, the fabrics are shredded before the fibres are re-spun into recycled cotton yarns. As the yarns produced comprise very fine fibres, once woven they result in a fabric that is softer, looser, and more pliable than our other denim at the equivalent weight, displaying a characterful neppy texture and appearance. 


Our “wide” work pants offer the most relaxed fit in the Iron Heart lineup, with a high rise, generous room in the top block and thighs, and the widest leg profile of all our cuts. In addition to the wide fit, the cut includes all the over-engineering you’d expect from our pants, featuring a tack button–fastened waist with brass zipper fly, half-lined rear pockets for added durability, and reinforced belt loops.
