Our classic Type III jacket, modified with a slightly longer than traditional body and with the addition of side handwarmer pockets, made from our 14oz indigo/black selvedge denim (second version which is made with a double twisted weft yarn, the same construction technique as our 21oz selvedge denim).

14oz Japanese Selvedge Denim - Indigo/Black

- 100% cotton

- Woven with a double twisted weft yarn

- Indigo rope-dyed warp / black sulphur-dipped weft

- Right-hand twill weave
- This denim offers a darker appearance and will fade with high contrast through wear and washing

- Slightly longer than traditional body length
- Flap-down chest pockets

- Handwarmer pockets, the construction of which creates two internal pockets
- Dual hem cinches

Fabric Focus

Sanforized & One-Washed

- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- To further reduce the risk of shrinkage, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Care Guidelines

- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
