While most of our fabrics are sanforised and washed to reduce shrinkage, Ultra Heavy Raw (UHR) denim is an unsanforised, loomstate selvedge weave. With a starting weight of 21oz when dry, this shrink-to-fit denim becomes (approximately) 23oz after shrinkage through soaking/washing – this is Iron Heart denim in its purest form. This denim is woven with a rope-dyed indigo warp yarn and a natural weft, fading naturally with wear and washing.
