A collaboration between Iron Heart and Simmons Bilt, the Pacific is an elegant take on the classic ‘50s style biker jacket. Handmade in Scotland, this beautiful piece is constructed from 1.2mm European deerskin, which has been vegetable-tanned in Italy. The double-breasted design increases wind resistance, with bi-swing shoulder pleats to improve mobility. Other features include cotton-lined handwarmer pockets, double waist cinches, a zippered chest pocket and an internal storage pouch, creating a versatile jacket with a distinctive vintage style.

Deerskin

- Naturally porous and breathable, deerskin is a soft, supple leather known for its comfort and stretch, allowing a garment to mold to the wearer over time. Deerskin is much more absorbent than denser leathers like cowhide or horsehide — we advise not wearing in wet conditions to avoid staining

- Deerskin generally doesn't require frequent conditioning, but when it starts to feel dry or stiff, use a light, natural leather conditioner to maintain softness and elasticity. Apply sparingly and work in gently with a soft cloth — deerskin can darken slightly when conditioned, especially in lighter colors


- To clean, use a soft cloth to remove surface dirt. If needed, a lightly damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild soap can be used, but avoid over-wetting and never soak the leather. If the leather gets wet, blot gently and allow it to naturally dry at room temperature, away from heat sources
