10_oz Back Satin M-65 Field Jacket - Olive Drab Green

Standard issue to US Army servicemen during the Vietnam War, the M-65 is arguably the most recognisable of all our military-inspired cuts — helped in part by memorable appearances in films such as Taxi Driver and The Terminator, which cemented its place in popular culture and civilian fashion.

Honouring its origins as a cold-weather field coat, the Iron Heart M-65 retains defining features such as the four large patch pockets and a lightweight hood concealed within a zippered compartment in the stand-up collar. However, as with all our military cuts, this is not a strict reproduction model, with updates the classic design including additional slit hand warmer pockets and an overspec’d two-way zipper.

This FW26 edition is made from 10oz back sateen fabric — dyed a custom olive green to match the original 1965 versions as closely as possible — and lined with Japanese Ventile for an added layer of water resistance. We’ve also removed the velcro cuff cinches and throat latches of our earlier M-65 jackets, now favouring heavy-duty snaps for a more secure fastening and cleaner aesthetic. The result is a versatile, highly durable and functional version of the classic field jacket that never compromises its iconic military styling.
