Our classic painter's pants, made from 10oz cotton/hemp denim. Lighter and softer than traditional heavyweight denim, this intriguing fabric is woven with a 100% cotton warp yarn and a weft yarn comprising 80% cotton and 20% hemp. The hemp is added for durability and water resistance — making this fabric quicker to dry than conventional denim — while the finely spun yarns create a very malleable weave with a wonderfully neppy finish brimming with character.

Offering a relaxed fit and features including reinforced belt loops, triple-stitch construction, multiple pockets, and a tool loop, these are highly versatile work pants that combine function, comfort, and vintage denim style.

- 10oz Japanese nep denim
- Indigo rope-dyed warp: 100% cotton - will fade with wear and washing

- White weft: 50% cotton / 50% hemp
- Total fabric breakdown: 80% cotton / 20% hemp

Fabric Focus

Stretch Details

- This fabric is not expected to stretch significantly at the waist or in other areas

One-Washed

- Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines

Care Guidelines

- We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
