Chinos take their name from the fabric they are made from. Chino cloth is a cotton twill originally developed for the military. This version of what is now a classic casual pant is made from 9oz Japanese selvedge chino cloth. Iron Heart offers a number of different chino pants, this is our straight, or '634' cut.

9oz Mercerised Selvedge Chino Cloth

- 100% cotton
- Cold mercerised for increased strength
- Reactive dyed warp and weft
- Fade-resistant to ensure a steadfast colour

Hardware & Construction

- Universal zipper fly

- Iron Heart branded tack button at waistband

- Heavy-duty copper snap fastening on left rear pocket

- Poly/cotton stitching for increased strength

- Single and double needle stitch construction

- Belt loops anchored at three points and sewn into the waistband

- This is an unwashed chino fabric, so expect some shrinkage with washing—approximately 0.5” in the waist and approximately 1.0” inseam length
