Inspired by the classic Levi's design from 1962, our modified take on the “Type III” jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with the addition of hand warmer pockets — the construction of which creates two internal storage pockets. This version is one of our more unique variations, made from 11oz Japanese piqué.
Reminiscent of the fabric popularised by the much-coveted vintage Levi’s 941-B “Big E” pique trucker jackets, this twill was chosen not only for its slightly slubby, textured appearance but also for the breathability it offers for such a substantial weave. This allows us to create a heavier-weight Type III than our usual spring/summer offerings — one that remains comfortable through the warmer seasons.
