Where does everyone live?

Wow that scenery is nice. Do you actually live in such a rural area or in a city?
I currently live in the city of Bergen, but I grew up in such a rural place, situated right next to the inlet of longest fjord in Norway. It is pretty postcard-like.
That being said, that particular photo is from the picture perfect Geirangerfjord which is more or less the fjord of Norway and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

+1. Peace and tranquility.
abw, I couldn't make out your avatar until I took a closer look. Nice! -
Hi everyone, I live in far far northern Cali on the coast. A spot I refer to as the Oregon Baja, nestled in the giant redwoods and smack dab on the edge of the pacific ocean…life is pretty damn good. I'm always enjoying my life and my wish for you is the same. Peace, love, and denim.

The amazingly racist city of Phoenix!

t & l,
I went to school in Tucson for a while so I know what you are saying. Can't argue with the ladies though… ??? ??? -
And I went to college at NAU (yep, I'm a Lumberjack)- my opinions on Phoenix are strong and not to be aired in polite company.
I absolutely love Flagstaff, though.

I'm from and currently live in San Francisco. Spent some time in Tucson as well.
This is what my current neighborhood looks like. Just a short bus ride to Self Edge from here.

t & l,
I went to school in Tucson for a while so I know what you are saying. Can't argue with the ladies though… ??? ???Tucson is a lot more laid back, but that's where a lot of SB1070 abuse has been happening, I've heard of several instances where the law is being upheld and people are being detained even though it is being dismantled in the court system. The drive from downtown Phoenix to Tucson is a nightmare though, and there usually isn't shit going on there either. You're right about the women here though, I'm not a native so when I moved here I scooped up one of the best looking girls I've ever seen and have been with her for over a year.
@HoustonChris:

Flagstaff is a weird little place, I knew a couple people who went to NAU, and a couple more who just live there. It just seems like they moved up there and spaced out. Its cool scenery though, just like Sedona is, but I'd never want to live in either of those places.

fifediesel- beautiful neighborhood; I've always loved San Francisco, it's a shame that it's so damn expensive.
t&l- yeah, Flagstaff has its share of goofballs, and there's definitely a semi-spacey vibe to the town. I'm not really into the hemp clothing, Birkenstock wearing, crystals & auras thing, so there were plenty of times when I got annoyed at folks. But it's a beautiful town and even the freaks are friendly (or at least they were when I lived there several years ago). Can't say I'd want to live there forever, but it was a wonderful time in my life and the town and school still have a special hold on me.
Two of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life are watching a sunset from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and watching a sunset from the Snowbowl in autumn, when the leaves on the aspens turn yellow. Words fail to describe the beauty.
-
Sunset at the canyon is really staggering to see, you're spot on with that. Any of the times I was ever at snowbowl by the time it was sunset I was too drunk to notice whether or not the sunset was anything spectacular, I will say that snowbowl is a lot of fun though I'm looking forward to it opening up this year.
