Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

A vote against any changes to the pencil slot - aesthetically it’s the perfect width imo
-
Work jacket in charcoal Melton wool. I could do self collar or not.

Not a fan of asymmetrical pockets. My thoughts are that they had a use for specific objects/products at some point in times past, but they are no longer regular use today. I don't mind the look of assym pockets, prefer sym pockets, and both should be big enough to be useful for modern items.
Not a fan of pen slots either. I can see they are useful for pencils without a clip. But the pen slot makes the rest of the pocket too small to be useful. I have a couple of work shirts from other brands that had pen slots, and I picked out the stiching.
The best detail I've seen for pens is one that Wrangler uses on their westerns - there's a slot on top of the pocket flap, so you put a pen in the pocket without having to open the flap, and when the flap is closed the pen doesn't keep it half-open.

Yeah I've worked in and around auto shops for the past 22 years and that's how most of your affordable Dickies/Red Kap/etc. basic work shirts are designed. Single most handy as fuck design ever. Whoever had that idea should win a Nobel peace prize. You're grabbing for your pen 100's of times a week especially if you use hand written work orders.
I'm not sticking any pens in my UHF's pockets though so the design doesn't bother me at all. I've had way too many pens leak on my shop work shirts over the years. Yeah don't baby your clothes, wear the fuck out of them, they are bullet proof, etc….but I'm not ruining a 300 dollar UHF with an ink stain.

I would love to see and unbrushed Ultra heavy flannel.

Seeing the recent Wabash CPO made me think of this:
Black 12oz wabash "Untucked". At the rate I'm wearing my Untucked it's going to need a buddy soon…
-
I would absolutely love a short sleeve western shirt in a lightweight fabric.

If you were in the game two or three years ago you’d be laughing now. There were loads knocking around. This is the first S/S collection I can remember without any short sleeves. The reason being they tended to end up in The Outlet…

A day late and a dollar short as usual.

I hope for God's sake as soon as you possibly can, please make a grey version of the new indigo check spring shirt. (And at least 1 4xl for me).

I didn’t jump on this one because I already have enough blue shirts, but grey I’d be all over.

My strategy is to shelve the old blue shirt to make room for the new blue shirt. Haha

I just got my IHSH-221 and the fabric is amazing. I would love to see a western made with this material. It is a beautiful indigo that just glows in the sun!

Dunno if this has been asked before, (it probably has) but is it possible to do ripstop whipchord? I think chocolate brown work pants in that would be interesting.
