Man I’m tempted by these but … I’m sort of tall and thin (6’2”-175) and I think the rise on these might be a little too high. I started with 666 in IH and love that fit (this coming from cheaper Diesel type jeans with a low rise).
I finally decided at my age (56) I’d try a more relaxed fit, so I bought a pair of 21oz 634’s. A year later, I’ve got 4 more pairs in a variety of demin lol.
Just not sure I’m ready to try these yet. Anyone with a relatively thin tall frame have any advice on how they wear?
Hi @Brandrea - I’m 6’ 1” and 180 lbs. My inside leg is relatively short for my height at 33”, so I find the high rise kind of makes my legs look more in proportion! I also have the 888’s, and the 1955’s are definitely a baggier, more relaxed, retro fit with plenty of room around the knees. The rise is high - I’m wearing 1955 now and the waistband comes right up to my belly button. The high rise also avoids a gap on the back when I sit down which works for me. Just my opinion, but I’d say the rise is the defining feature which may or may not be to your preference.
Hope that’s helpful - Bill
