Iron Heart X Simmons Bilt Horsehide Western Shirt - The Pale Rider - Natural
-
@Karol From photos I have seen online, the "new" doesn't appear as structured as the "old" -- and the "new" has a much more pebbled / textured appearance. The "old" is definitely a unique bird.

@Mizmazzle Thanks 100 times thanks. I was uncertain about the title as it was originally about the old model. Having that confirmed I don't think I will be able to further resist this when its out.
@indigostiff I was fighting with myself about the old one, but other priorities made me postpone the purchase until the pieces that were left had to many inconsistencies between the panels for my liking. I guess I should say that the risk I took was calculated, but unfortunately I'm bad at math. -
@Mizmazzle Are You kidding? Its a perfect answer when You are certain of it. I just always try to get to the bottom of things, and when its still the development phase I didn't want to rely only on the thread title.

@Karol https://www.ironheart.co.uk/jackets/ihsb-wj.html this leather, but natural
-
Only worn for 49 days for the Redline Rally and the shirt is developing slowly. From now on it can be a shirt for every day due to the temperatures.
-
@matt_rost possibly my favourite IH shirt. Enjoy the process man
-
@matt_rost Looksfantastic mate
-
@doubletee It's quite an experience to see how the process noticeably progresses from one week to the next. And it fits like a dream. That's why I feel the same way
-
@denim-dawg If it doesn't end up being the most worn-out specimen, then maybe it's the most interesting one
-
@matt_rost Well put! It’s getting as much wear as I can muster, my fellow rider, and I love it. A unique bird that flies in its own direction….
-
From the Iron Shop pre-order a few days back - it appears the color - as well as the price - has changed.
-
@indigostiff weird, I had the impression that the final version was supposed to be darker, more honey like.
-
looks like the first version…

Sorry, I'm not sure why they have posted these. I literally put the order in with Simmons Bilt this afternoon - we don't have leather in hand, so perhaps the colour will change from the sample photo used above, but as it stands we don't know.
Regarding the price - yes, Blatwerk leather costs more than most others we work with, so the retail price increased accordingly.
The samples have been treated with something to make the patina faster, and the plan was going to be to test that theory out so we had supporting imagery to show when we announced them, but annoyingly someone decided to get the jump on us.
