WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
Some pics from today and yesterday: I walked around in my hometown Nürnberg 8with my 634 S-B), ate my dearly missed sausages, tasted and bought me a "Schwarzbierbrand", it's distilled from Black Beer and has been matured in barrique barrels. Tastes almost like whisky, that's why I like it. The piglet pics are for seul exclusively.
You see, I'm addicted to jeans, whisky and sausages. Could be worse things, alright? -
I knew you'd like it
-
wow why are you european folks so cultured. makes me hate living in america… you with your fine food and good beer and pretty scenery

[/quote]I wouldn't quite knock America
The Pacific Northwest is probably one of the prettiest places I've ever been. Nevermind the cherry blossoms at the Mall in DC. Whittle on a piece of driftwood sitting on a rock in Laguna Beach, CA…now THAT is zen
And the best beer I've ever had is over here. Dogfish Head is a craft beer made in the Delaware Maryland area.
The best meal I've ever had was in Atlanta at South City Kitchen. Homemade fried chicken to die for
I've been all over the States, and all over the world. I would never leave this country for good
A little bit of a hot button issue for me. I dated an idiot out of Cyprus for two years, and she was always saying how things were soooo much better in Europe.
America! FUCK YEAH

im only half serious you know…
the states has some great places, but i feel like 90+% of the people are so mindless, uncultured, and unaware...i guess its less of a knock on the place than it is on crass consumerism.
that being said, i love how pretty rain is. but i hate the mud
hows that for zen? LOL

im only half serious you know…
No worries, no offense taken
I'm not sure it's 90% of people are mindless…maybe it's because of the people I'm exposed to, but I think that number is inverted...it's just that people who are really salt of the earth...they don't draw much attention to themselves
It's the really loud, abrasive motherfuckers that tend to draw your eye
But now you've got me thinking:
Best breakfast: London, England
Best pint of Guinness: random pub next to the Tower Bridge in England
Best hangover meal: Lucerne, Switzerland (Sausage and some other stuff that I couldn't figure out)
Best Chinese food: Shanghai
Best ice cream: ice cream shop on top of Mount Titlis in Switzerland
Best house wine: Florence Italy
Best cookie: Paris, France
Best BBQ: KoreaThe most peaceful moment I had in my life was in a Buddhist temple in Hanzhou, China
But...best pizza...NYC, baby

Ill second that on the peaceful place.. especially when its raining.
IMO gelato>ice cream
hangover food: pho. the dirtier the better.and ill pretty much agree with most of your takes. wish china would take some of the japanese ethic and care MORE about quality. The beauty and the culture are there, but so is the mass production

you are crazy, i cut down on drinking a lot so my hangover cure is hot tub + mimosas…
