@jerkules Thank you! Yes, these are both my daily wears. I don't rotate much, only thing I really change is I have a pair of 14oz 633 I occasionally wear. But they are both worn a lot yes.

Wanted to post up some pictures of my dailies after I washed both. I have around almost 3 years on Jacket and the jeans. Jacket is a se collaboration 18 oz overdye and the jeans are 8301-s SBG's (21oz)

Very satisfied about both of these pieces, the jacket for me is my holy grail and I will always say OD has the best fades. (imo) Love how both of these came out.

@Jcaz6996 it’s the daily beater I just did a proper machine wash on it after a year and some change. I’m currently in the process of either looking for someone to tailor a jacket I have or look for another iron heart piece.

About a year and 5-6 months on my Self Edge Overdye, starting to see signs of needing repairs. I'll ride it out for a couple of months and see about getting it touched up.
About 2 soaks on the garment as of now.

@Inorganic Yeah, it's my buddies s13, I have a 14 but it's been sitting for awhile. His car is pretty much all over the internet now lol.

Took a Trip to SF to drop off some repairs with my buddy. Ended up copping their new se3s collab pizza tee. Super money.

I always make it a point if I'm stopping in the city to come by SE and chop it up with the workers, these dudes in SF are always nice and it's a good time talking about denim, and what's happening in the denim world.

Just picked these up awhile back and these were when I first tried them on. Super stoked to finally get a pair of these.

2nd wash on my IH633-14 double blacks. I posted them a while back but I got some pictures with Decent natural light out here in sunny California. (1 year / 2 wash / 1 soak / couple of repairs)

Once again I had a couple of small little repairs, one of them was preventative as part of the bottom was fraying and starting a small hole. I darned up 2 of the holes to reinforce the fabric and this is my 2nd time repairing my own jeans. I would have sent these out for repair but I wanted to try my hand out in fixing them myself.

I'm very pleased with the 14oz fabric, it's lasted this long and for context I've been wearing these every single day for a year at minimum 5 days a week for work and the only repairs I've done were just at the 1 year mark and there was not a single crotch blowout and I wore these extremely hard. They are not too light, they feel pretty sturdy as an all-arounder pair. I'd recommend this to people who wanna give a shot at lighter oz denim.

I'm really not much of a drinker at all but I was out for my friends birthday at a brewery in Alameda called "Almanac" It's quite close to Self Edge SF. Had a blast, had a few people ask about denim there too but I spared them the details as it is quite a deep rabbit hole haha. Sorry for the bad quality on some of the pictures.

Hey thanks! Yeah like I said. This was my first time doing any sort of repair or alteration on my denim. I showed some friends and they said the same thing it’s really a good boost knowing your own work looks good to other people. There’s some other bits and pieces that need to be touched up but I’ll address those when I get there. Also I recently went to a friends bday party and a bunch of them were asking about denim. Really cool explaining the what’s what. And their faces when you tell them how much you spend on stuff

Been searching for about 2 years for this jacket and finally got my hands on one. It's worn a little but not too much. I think i'm going to stick with just my shop pin on this jacket. I'm working on a 3sixteen overdye jacket as we speak so this one is going on ice until I get my new pair of denim in the next couple of months.

My 633-14 double blacks. I've posted these up but I wanted to show some after wash pics and some repair work I did.

Showing off some whiskers and combs. This was the first wash, these were previously soaked around 5-6 months ago. I bought these back in march of '21. And I wear these every day.

There were 3 small holes, starting of a crotch blowout. I'm going to be  blunt, I do not like the whole sashiko repair thing. I don't think it looks very good. With that said, other people can enjoy it but  I decided to do a little darn work. This is my first time every repairing jeans myself. I have a little small sewing machine with a darning needle kit and I went to work. Not bad for my first job. Where the material that I darned over there were 3 holes starting on the seam where the stitching was falling apart. I would have sent these out to iron heart but these are the only pair of that i'm currently rocking, i'm not the type of dude to rotate. Also to clarify for expert sewers I did not pinch and lose fabric and the jeans sit the same.

I recently picked up my holy grail jacket. I’ve been looking for this jacket for about 2 1/2 years now. These don’t get restocked often and I picked this up 2nd hand from a discord friend for a very good price. Also, I recently did a self repair for the first time on my IH 633’s, I’m not into sashiko repairs so I gave them a darning job. I did pretty good for my first time. I’ll probably post pics in lay flat but I’m just stoked I got a hold of this jacket.

I think I posted somewhere on the forum already but i've been into raw denim since maybe like 2008 but I never had the money to afford a pair for myself. Rocked apc's for a long time and then Upgraded to oni in 2018. I was only into slub and extreme texture denim up until I started delving into other brands and like almost everyone else who looks at iron heart they all say the same thing: "They look boring." "who would pay $350+ for a pair of raws." Then I got a crotch blowout in my onis and my friends who are into raw denim told me I should get into Iron Heart. From all the brands that I knew Iron heart were pretty much the pinnacle of quality.

I ordered a pair from Self Edge in early 2021, got the 633 (Straight Tapered se exclusive)  double black 14oz. At the time I didn't know they had OD as well in different weights but I never got hooked on the OD fabric until After I got my 633's. After that I absolutely went iron heart crazy. Mostly for the denim, I don't wear a lot of outerwear or flannels or anything like that. And so I ditched a lot of my slubby and neppy stuff to my coat hangers and I don't wear them anymore and it's pretty much just double black tightweave stuff. Me and friends dubbed: "The Self Edge fit."

I haven't seen another faded example of this jacket, I've definitely seen them on the internet though.
The fabric is super cool close up a lot of attention to detail. I haven't worn this in ages though and sadly it's been on the back burner and I don't even think I'll touch any of my oni when I get my OD jacket. Just thought y'all would wanna see it.

Its seems Shovels are getting up there in price also 

Gen shovels yeah, a lot of clean ones are going for around 10-12k Cone shovels are going for a lot less, you can still find a decent like superglide for 5-6. Some people are asking absurd prices for cones though, around 8-9k and they're stock. Has a lot to do with exporters sending them over to japan too. Just drives the prices up. Now iron heads are 3-4k.

Do we have Bobber fans in the building?

The first and the third bikes are local to where i'm at. Been in love with Norcal style for a while I used to be super into short bobbers but now I like them long and skinny. Trying to get my hands on a shovelhead but it's hard to find a good base bike to work with. Pans and Knucks are way too expensive also and I would never modify original Harley bikes.

Looking good. All the overdye type III’s are glorious. I have a 21oz and a 22oz and love them.

Yeah like I said, my buddy had one and at first I was not super into tight weave stuff, I had an oni kiwami that got quite a bit of attention and I liked slub a lot more. Idk what happened, my Oni jeans had a crotch blowout starting and I bought those 633's from self edge. After that I'm pretty much a full Iron heart convert, I really wouldn't wear anything else. I'm planning on picking that same jacket up very soon and that's pretty much my end all be all jacket.

@Joberwocky Thanks! Yeah, it's rare enough I see people dress like myself. Let alone wear Iron Heart. It's getting popular here in America but there is other brands that are a lot more liked here in the states. And people are turned off by the price. It's a total shame. But yeah, I love this jacket and Self Edge doesn't restock it often at all so I've had to wait a couple of years to get one of my own.
