We made Moussaka last night. Lamb Ragu spread over layers of thinly sliced and sautéed eggplant. Then topped with a yogurt and feta sauce with egg whipped in so it sets when baking.

@Giles are these the same marinated eggs they serve on ramen? Did you make yours soft boiled or hard boiled?

@Oaktavia diapers and butt wipes will fit great in the turquoise leather waist pack. Just another reason for daily IH accessorizing.

Is there a huge difference between the weave for a UHF vs a Denim? Could IH produce a denim shirt that was Buffalo check? classic Indigo squares with natural squares but in the stiffer unbrushed denim fabric? not sure if i'm asking this right.

2 things.

1. I wasn’t sure about this style choice. I’ve been wearing the 142 quite often but not over just a black t-shirt. I know… risky stuff.

2. It’s the warmest day of the year so far. On my walk it was about 55 and I got a little warm.

When I got back to the office I complained it was too hot outside and my coworkers started throwing food at me. “Not with the serge jacket on you losers”.

@Giles yeah, but if you and Paula got tired of each other on that ship there'd be enough elbow room to separate for a bit.

@Giles you seem like a feverish researcher and detail man, and I'm sure the boating experience is no exception. What has surprised you or caught you off guard the most about owning Sakura?

We were saying hi to the neighbors horses this weekend and we could hear an Arc coming from the electric fence. We dig down and found a crack in the wiring causing the issue. Our horses offered their services if needed of course.

We ended up replacing the whole line that goes under the gate, digging the trench a bit deeper.

Took a little hike (4m) from the house down to the river today.

@GoodtimeJohnny it’s peak light jacket season in MN right now. The jacket almost has me enjoying when I have to leave the farm.

@endo there’s a Korean film called “I Saw the Devil” that I highly recommended. It’s so crazy moody and violent and well done.

I would like to see a jacket with the same specs as the 142 windbreaker, but made out of indigo dyed or black roughout cow leather.

@Oaktavia you may not if you're strictly talking numbers, but these may be great for sleepwear in the summer.

@Oaktavia I want your questions answered, and what denim these are sampled in? What denim(s) are you planning to produce in? Will they fit over moon boots? What is the planned rise of these?

I have no recommendations but I’m so stoked for you. I’m not sure I’d like a trip away from home for that amount of time, but you are going to experience so much and get rid of the jet lag and live it up.

Me again. I wasn’t sure that Serge jacket would pair well with the broken twills, but as you can see in this photo the chickens don’t care about my outfit anyhow.
