So really it’s the volume . So as long as you talk on your phone quietly it’s ok.

Why on earth do people think it is acceptable to have a phone conversation in a restaurant on speaker?
Next time it happens, Paula will have to do all she can to restrain me from going over to the ignorant twat and saying to the person at the other end. "I'm Giles. On the basis that you wanted the whole fucking restaurant to listen to your meaningless twaddle, I thought I ought to introduce myself"…..
I don’t get why people care so much. Are you mad that you can only eavesdrop on one side of the conversation and not both? Or would you have conversation be banned all together?

Giving my 634s-a a break and back to wearing these. They don’t fit that bad as long as I’m wearing a belt.
The knees are super faded for some reason. I’m guessing dragging them on carpet whoops..

I swear this phone fade was caused by the one day I had to do manual labor when I moved houses.
Next time I have to do actual work I’ll wear my khakis.

Maine. It’s getting cold…

A bag will be the answer to all your “problems”! Phone goes in that, no belt, bags are cool af. Sorted [emoji6]
Like a man purse? I don’t know if I’m firm enough in my masculinity for that.

I’ve been trialing the phone in back pocket approach. It definitely pulls the pants down more. Only an issue for non belt wearers like me but still.

Is that supposed to be a joke Jeanmoreau ?
I’d say it’s not the time and none of this is a laughing matter.

My comment had nothing to do with the previous one. I was just noticing so much Carhartt so I had to rant. Sorry about that.

Way too much carhartt out there. It needs to stop.

I’m definitely not skinnier an inch up. That’s where my belly is.

Y’all aren’t worried about crushing your expensive phone with your ass?
I think I’m going to keep it in the other pocket for a few months to make the fades more symmetrical then try the back pocket.

There’s been a terrible development. The dreaded phone fade is starting to appear. I’m trying to remember to put my phone in my other pocket from now on.

I tried these on at Self Edge SF, figuring I might be 33 or 34 based on the measurements. The 33 could button but was pretty tight and not super pleasant, while the 34 was pretty comfortable right then and there. I'm inclined to go with the 34 but I've heard that this fabric has a ton of stretch–-will they necessarily stretch out a ton? Do I absolutely need to go with the smaller waist and suffer for a while to avoid them becoming so stretched that they don't stay up without a belt?
Go for 33. I wish I had.

So you went for the comfortable size and it stretched out enough that it wouldn't stay up or at least didn't feel good?
Yes. Literally with a 33/34 situation as well.
I don’t have a lot of experience with ih so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I am a non belt wearer like you. I assume Jett wears belts.
I think thighs are the most important thing to size for.
If your thighs are ok in 33 I’d go with them. Waist stretches up to 2 inches if you need it to. That’s what I’ve heard said by many people.

Figured I didn’t need an expensive denim jacket because it doesn’t get worn that hard like jeans.
Got wrangler in black. 40 dollars
Less than 1 month later it’s already broke . The snap button came off the right pocket and I don’t know where it went.
The other budget option is Levi’s which is made with stretch denim…
And I really hate the feel of this. It’s so thin and cheap feeling. Are there no decent black denim jackets for under 300 dollars??

Will the arcs ever get less yellow? I’m an arc hater and they’re bugging me.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The arcs may get a bit stained from indigo transfer but probably not too much because of the polyester. However, as the denim lightens, the contrast between the denim and arcs will lessen, making them less noticeable.
Ok I like this maybe I won’t mess with them.
And my wife just said no normal person is going to notice them. I would notice them though on someone else.

I just don’t like to wear clothes that are noticeable and I fear the bright yellow will make people notice them.
I’m intrigued by this sharpie idea. Won’t the ink get on the denim? Will they look really dark and weird?

Why would you buy a pair when you hate one of the defining features?

I knew this question was going to be asked and I do not have a good answer [emoji24]

get the 'normal' IH-634S
Yup but too late. I love them otherwise.
