I'll share these dudes every chance I get:

I was seeking to jam some dad rock this morning and noticed the name on the profile. The fella who uploaded this video happens to have a friend who had some demons and just died recently. RIP Jeff.
At any rate, pretty good video, Brice Hornsby playing his song "Mandolin Rain" into Jerry Garcia's and Robert Hunter's "Black Muddy River."
Have a great weekend!

I despise U2 and think they haven't made a decent song in close to 25 years. Yet for whatever reason, I kinda dig this remix

This '94 Oi Polloi 7" still is the punkest thing ever made…. If you had the 7" you'll know what I mean... Lyrics, booklet,...
Music ain't so bad either I still know the lyrics by heart...

@seul oh yes, now you are talking. Seattle sxe. Their early ep was on CrimethInc records. Brian from the band Catharsis that ran that label was one of the most inspiring people I ever met…

Inspiring and annoying
I saw them at a squat in Ghent in the early oughties… With Newborn... Typical fights: crusties throwing beer at SxE bands... Yelling to "shut up and play" during political speeches... I actually apologised to Zoli outside for the crusties, cause I felt bad... But everyone united during Catharsis... I loved Samsara and Passion... Split with Gehenna as well... And the split CD they did with Newspeak...

I was full on sxe vegan, anarchist activist at that stage, and I spent a good couple of hours talking to Brian at a show they played in Brighton. He really lives it as he speaks it to, to this day. The energy that those albums captured during the recording was incredible.
