@Max:
Is it weird, that I thought of ordering another pair of 634SB?
I looked at the pics of my pair when they were new yesterday and felt like I needed another pair, that fits a bit more relaxed…
And the BB, as much as would like to wear them, just aren't doable on my thighs.I eventually returned my SBs for a bigger size and I'm loving the more relaxed fit. I also had them hemmed, which I never did before in my life as I always cuff.
Problem was, I like a high cuff and 3 turns up, I looked like I had training weights on my ankles before.
I sized up on the BB too and love the relaxed fit. Wasn't sure to start with but really love 'em now. Maybe should have hemmed a bit shorter buy hey…
I've not started on the 634s-b s yet...still sat in the cupboard with the BBOD. And there was me thinking of some Devil's fit 25oz?! ......I need help..... -
It's not that we don't think that soccer is big in the US, it's more that it doesn't compare to NFL, MLB or NBA in terms of scale. We in Europe (and most of the rest of the world) are used to football (soccer) being the undisputed most popular sport by some distance.

It's a low scoring game manipulated by fake fouls. Rugby is a more worthy sport, but kids nowadays just want to be skinny and good looking, not tough. Soccer is really popular with kids is the US because it gets you in shape because of all the running, but it is a waste of time to sit and watch. It is also unpopular because regular season games can end in a 0-0 tie, which is stupid to pay money to see. From my perspective.

I would agree with that. I think its getting slowly getting more exposure. During the build up to the Liverpool v Man U game yesterday, they cut to a bar showing the game in NY. 7am EST and it looked busy. The locals commented on better US players coming through, & players going to the MLS, making the game more popular.

Yeah…I can't stand soccer unless I am watching the games that mean something in the Champions League. Then again, I like baseball, so I'll get some hate for that…

I lived and breathed baseball in Texas all the way through high school 'til I flipped my car six times on the freeway my senior year. Got medically disqualified from West Point for the resulting massive concussion. Now I'm a cook and an artist, but I still love baseball! Rangers for the win in 6!

Baseball is a game that I wish I could love, but it doesn't get enough play here in the UK without spending a lot of extra money on TV subscriptions etc…
I love the history of Baseball, the occasion of the game, the passion, the knowledge, but I need to spend more time enjoying the sport.

Very Random
Could anyone in the US proxy some cream from Bath and Body for Mini? She loves their Cherry Blossom cream, and we haven't been to the states this year to get any.

I agree. It's like soccer and golf, they are just sports that are more enjoyable to play than to watch.
I thing any sport is more enjoyable to play. I can easily spend a weekend watching 5/6 football games. I can just about manage an hour of baseball…I guess it's down to influence, what you grew up with and have played.
I only like women beach volleyball…
Good choice…
