IH-725-KHA - West Point Shorts - Khaki

Would buy these in a size 35 if that ever happens
-
For the half hour or so that these were on the site yesterday - sorry to bang on about it! - but the cart wasn't working, if I selected the 34 tag option it would say there was only 1 in stock. Unless there really has been a restock of one item in that size, the Crew might want to take a look at why the page was telling me there was only one!

Thanks! Now you've got '9+-1'.

@AdamJ what is the outseam measurement on these?
-
IH Team - Any chance for a size 29 (waist dimension 29.5”) in either or both shorts available in Japan? Thanks! John

Thanks for the info @Giles . Bummer - was so looking forward to picking up a pair of each for summer. Hopefully some future SS release will include a tag size 28.

@ Giles . I’ll look forward to not having to make my annual purchase of fast fashion shorts each summer. Thanks! John

The stock does not decrement until the actual purchase is completed. Just placing an item in the shopping vart does not decrement stock.
What must have happened is that someone purchased them, then we refunded the order, perhaps they realised they would not fit when we reached out to them to check, which is a normal part of our shipping process.

Ok, so just got home to start trying on my haul. Started with these. Could I get thoughts on fit from the IH hivemind?
With the sizing chart I always thought these would be touch and go in the thigh and top-block, and I might be right. I have squatter’s thighs which usually touch when i stand naturally. They’re quite snug in the thigh - for comparison my 888-21s have stretched out to 14’ in the thigh, which is comfy, whereas these are just that half an inch tighter. To get these over my thighs and butt I’m having to wear them quite high (waistband at the top of my hip-bones), and I can feel the inseam right up in my craw. This is somewhat uncomfortable moving about, especially once I fill my pockets with my usual EDC.
I’m thinking this might be alleviated with wear if, for example, the fabric gives a bit and yields a bit of space in the top block, and/or the waistband gives a bit so I can wear them a little lower. Or if that nub of fabric where all the stitching meets softens up so it no longer bothers me. Or if I just get used to it. Can anyone with experience of these weigh in?
Sorry for the over-analysis of a pair of shorts, but these things ain’t cheap and the only thing worse than clothes you don’t wear are nice clothes you don’t wear and wish you liked more!

@EdH Personally, I like my shorts to be comfortable right out the box and it sounds like you are not getting much comfort from these so I would say you might end up never falling in love with them. I think if you were able to wear them a bit lower they may work better for you but if you can't then they might not be the ones

look pretty snug across the boys.
