That's one reason I buy Japanese. Rightly or not I have faith that sweatshop conditions are unusual there.

Todd, a little bit about the general history; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Heart_(Brand)
From the front page of the website another video that hides well; http://www.ironheart.co.uk/content/productionReally great questioning :). Giles I'm not sure if you've been following Kyle@TFH's updates on their processes, I think you've covered it off pretty well (and gone further ), but not a bad comparison. #exciting.

Very excited for this G.
Snowy, that is a great video.

I would like to congratulate and thank the cinematographer for Man of Steel for almost single-handedly ruining a movie with camerawork alone. I didn't think it was possible but there you have it. The latest mutation of cinema verite, where you as a cameraman must pretend you have palsy when you zoom, focus, or move the viewframe.
-
Didn't bother me at all, but I know loads of folks who hated Cloverfield and thought the camera work was awful whereas I thought it was genius.
I guess it's not everyones cup of tea, but it's a style I quite like.

Turns out it's the guy from Fast and Furious, a Transformers movie, and the forthcoming Wolverine flick (damn):
While Snyder worked with cinematographer Larry Fong on both 300 and Sucker Punch, the cinematographer for Man of Steel is Amir Mokri whose previous works include Fast & Furious, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and The Wolverine, which is scheduled to be released in July 2013. That shift in talent shouldn’t change Snyder’s individual convictions though, and we can expect something extremely stylised, even if it resists the temptation to go full comic book.

If you're going to fire someone, have the common courtesy to do it face to face. I have no use for people so cowardly that they fire a person via text message.
The woman that we "share" a nanny with fired her today in said manner.
