Not a "favorite beer", but a favorite beer webstore (So far)… Great customer service, I think
Just got an email from the guys at HonestBrew:
I knew I wasn't totally crazy when I was drinking that beer!
Apparently, the brewery over-carbonated the batch.Verdant Brewing Co. "Neal Gets Things Done"
Tasty!
Fruity, and slightly sweet IPA… But too "frothy" for me...
The same with the Luna that Maddy is drinking.
I would buy it again though

"Very lively pouring" is a great phrase. Solid customer service, too. This would make me a customer, if it were feasible.

HonestBrew is great. I'm currently having a big arse problem with my last order from Hop Burns & Black… Stuck at customs... Bpost can't help... Took two days before some from HB&B mailed me back saying they'd look into the problem... Meanwhile my IPAs are in some depot... Probably not airconditioned either... During a heatwave...
It never rains but pours, right...

Hope you get your beers soon.
Drinking this one tonight.

If I’m honest I bought it mainly for the artwork, though it’s pretty nice. Not as citrusy as I was lead to believe.

Update from Verdant:
–---
Neal really is getting things done & HOWL DIPA
August 3rd 2018
Official Recall
1. Neal Gets Things Done IPA
2. GYLE / BATCH #5 Canned on Date June 4th 2018
3. GYLE / BATCH #7/8 Canned on Date July 2nd 2018
4. HOWL - DIPA
5. GYLE / BATCH #02 Canned on Date 7th May
6. GYLE / BATCH #04 Canned on Date 18th JuneWe have had reports of both Neal Gets Things Done IPA & HOWL DIPA suffering from a re-fermentation in pack.
This results in kegs being unable to pour and cans unfortunately bursting under pressure.
We request that anyone with cans showing the above dates, to please dispose of them with care. Ideally freeze
them or reduce the temperature to below 8 degrees. Once disposed of please send us an image of the base of the
can to info@verdantbrewing.co and we can arrange for you to receive compensation and further details.
We will be doing our utmost to understand the problem and will update in due course. We have our suspicions
that this is due partly to the exceptionally warm weather conditions and the beer not being cold stored but also
the possibility of a diastaticus yeast infection causing re-fermentation in pack. We are holding current tests on all
products with our yeast suppliers as we are 100% confident that if this is the case, then the issue has been brought
into the brewery from an outside source. We are sure that all of these beers reached a stable final gravity for at
least 48hrs prior to packaging.
Again we apologize to everyone for the unsatisfactory products, we aim to produce the highest quality beer
possible and this is a testing time for all of us.Regards,
Team Verdant
