If you are getting Aviator Retros, their lenses suck bick time. You better order some good lenses for them from Good Ole US of A. (ANSI graded)
Only proper lenses Davida is offering is the Blue mirror, which is polycarbonate, other lenses are acetate. (or so it was at least while ago)

I have Iridium lenses for those sunny days and yellow for rainy days and nights.
Iridium lenses will give you that nice blowfly looks

Aviator 4400 goggles may be worn with the strap over the helmet. They are ideal with Davida Classic or other half-helmets, leather flying hats or with no headwear. We don't recommend them with open face helmets such as the Davida Classic Jet, or Speedster with the strap over helmet as they may not seal at the temples.That is true, that just struck me when I read that.
With open helmet like Jet I use flip up visor, like this -
And while you're riding xtrail bike, you might as well get period correct helmet
