These look so good, can't get them off my mind @superfuzz

VEB commented about some Attractions Roper Boots, which were well-crafted and unique - not my cup of tea - but I had no idea they made a Engineer boot - which I think are very cool. Roper Boots: http://vintageengineerboots.blogspot.com/search?q=attractions

i guess the furry ones will look great once worn.

would become handy if you need to be chained somewhere.

Thanks @Bluegrass I love them! I just wish they would stop rubbing the tops of my big toes!

they really are great man. i wouldn't worry about the rubbing unless they are too short. my rc's and julians both did that but went away. the rc's were too short or i would still have them

@Bluegrass nice boots, what is the size?
-
Thanks @illumin8em the fit is perfect they're just rubbing the tops of my big toes for some reason, especially the right foot. I assume it will go away with some wear. I haven't been able to wear them much since it's been so warm, but they should get a lot of wear in the coming months!

@Bluegrass thx, woow

@Chiba J. is it the same soft CXL as the engineers? It looks like it may be a bit firmer (how I think I can tell that is anyone's guess).
-
I've never actually handled the CXL engineers, but I think this is the same stuff.
I think what you're seeing is just that this is a more complexly structured boot than the engineers and thus less prone to all the bending and creasing.
One thing you can't see in photos is the very nice deerskin lining.
