Eternal was founded in 1997. It belongs to Maeno & Co (founded 1948).

Eternal is famous for its denim. 14,5 oz redline selvage denim, dyed 30 times in pure indigo.

^love those. when i saw this thread i immediately thought of ipkus' pair. so awesome! 811 were my first serious japanese denims and still haven't come across a more interesting fabric.

For the taller guys, BiG has the 811 with a 39" raw inseam and the 888 (basically the 811 cut with added stuff) comes with an 40" inseam raw

I wore a pair of 874 on/off for a couple of years and have since worn a pair of Flat Head F350s for a similar period. Different cuts but in my humble opinion, selvage colour aside, the denim seems eerily similar.
