Random Love (anti-rants)

More than welcome, @louisbosco!
First time I've proxied for someone, glad I didn't screw it up haha

We have a lot of favourite customers. We love them for all sorts of reasons.
We have one, who I will call Pablo (not real name). Pablo buys a lot of our stuff mainly shirts. I am not sure if he has ever sent us an email or asked us a question via PM or a forum post, he just buys stuff and NEVER returns anything. He is high value/low maintenance.
On Friday I got a "return notification" from Pablo, I was stunned and a little concerned. A few minutes later, I did get an email from him….
_Hiya, this is for IHSH-130-bb - I just realized I bought this last year as IHSH-130 (embarrassed)
it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Thank you!_

Threw my Mac Book Pro down 2.5 flights of stairs this morning, in our house, that equates to about 25 stairs. It gambolled from stair to stair and even chucked itself through the bannisters thereby free-falling about 12 feet at one point. Apart from a badly dented USB port (that still works), nothing seems amiss - Amazing….
For the avoidance of doubt @Madame Buttonfly was not involved in this "experiment"…

@Giles - thanks for clearing me from any involvement in this Mac Book related incident. You gave me and the cats quite a scare!

Ha!
I came very, very close to launching all my Apple gear off my balcony a few years ago. Yet another of their seemless software 'upgrades' meant that everything went from working fine to utterly borked in minutes.
15 years ago I hated Apple then my girlfriend made me love them. I'm pretty much back to where I started these days, but have so much kit I feel a bit stuck.

The perfect crime.

@Giles , I'll consult Tommy for the actual number of stairs travelled by you MBP

I nearly asked you to ask him. It fell from the landing outside our bedroom to half way down the flight of stairs leading to the rear porch, it was a rizla paper's thickness away from dropping through the bannisters a second time when it came to rest, then it would have been toast as it would have fallen onto the stone flags…..

That is quite a drop, it's nice that you finally got away with not destroying a MacBook
