Watches - another OCD problem
-
Yup G thats one of those famous divers very nice uiui
Finn you are a great guy, young, dynamic, Gentleman. I think you will make the best choice on any watch when you go handle them personally. You brought it down to two brands atm, maybe there are four you gonna like and at the end you going out with the best choice for you
I was some months without watch just me and my iPhone was cool too but nothing beats a nice mechanical watch on a guys wrist together with jeans, flannel, boots haha -
Awesome watches around here. This thread is a dangerous place, I really shouldn't be here too often!
I'd like you to meet my TAG Heuer Autavia which I'm still in love with after 9 years. Originally introduced in the early 60's and modified over the years the Autavia is not being produced anymore at all.
-
I like that one Eli. Is that the Japanese domestic?
Love the Autavia as well. One of the best Heuer designs IMO.
-
Lool @Graeme you right haha
You do have great taste in watches, i just think our gentleman @Finn666 need to find a good entry level which Pam or tudor or maybe iwc or rolex might be for his lifestyle
Thx for that man haha
But i can assure you Bucherer does not stock zenith@mental floss wow what a beauty oldschool

Panerai or Tudor?…what do you guys think?`
Tudor! I just picked up a vintage Monte Carlo from 1972. Their modern line-up also has some amazing pieces.
-
@Finn666 get an Omega speedie
Haha man so many great watches outthere
No really kidding i stay of course with Tudor, i had the speddie too, tudor still winner imhoAh @babyknight so nice congrats man, killer chrono Sir

damn guys…didn't thought i'd have that much to read when checking back in this thread
thanks all for the nice feedback...def. gonna check out bucherer soon mate @davito
just googled the snowflake @Friday looks super nice as well…so snowflake or black bay it is, when tudor!
panerai is, well "just" panerai...somehow something special but somehow also a bit of hype to me (or am i wrong?).
i know they make great watches but i'm not sure if panerai represents that what i'm looking for in a watch. who knows...omega is great shit as well...decisions decisions decisions...damn! ^^
anyways, thanks a ton and o/course i'm always open for new brands or anything else
-
@Giles , this is the one I got, the OG 7169/0. Not sure it's the best match for the bike but if you know anyone who sells clothing perhaps you can find some gear to help coordinate?
hahaha, nice one bk!
-
@babyknight lovely rare blue bird. Awesome Sir. If you can share a wristshot when you have time would be amazing

@Finn666 snowflake is the form of the hour hand in vintage tudor subs and also some modern submariner models I think (rolex has the mercedes hand), @Qinhan has that beautiful vintage snowflake sub. I am not sure if @Friday was meant to say the black bay which has a snowflake hour hand too, please forgive my ignorance :).
I suggest you call up Bucherer in advance to check if the blackbays are available in display as they sell pretty good from what i was told. -
Some vintage ones from the drawerful…when I stopped wearing suits for the most part, I gave these up. I have quite a lot, mostly Swiss, but Russian, Slav, even Hamiltons, all from yesteryear before prices went nutty. Must do something with them all. These days it's just Seiko, or once in awhile an Omega with textured face that I like (not this one, which is a 1960ss).

Amidst all these Rolexes and Tudors and all that, I decide to get a little funky…
Nice choice Seul. But if you haven't already picked it up, definitely give this new Citizen diver a look. Apparently it has a few improvements over the earlier model, and it looks great (and funky) too.
