Samurai Jeans

The 634s seems to have a similar ratio as to the BiG jean:
BiG: 30/12.5 = 2.4
634s: 29.6/11.7 = 2.5Correct. But 634S are sanforized, Samurai Jin are not, and they shrink after washed. But they don't shrink proportionally, you have to subtract 1 or more inches from waist and only 0.50" from thigh. Doing so, ratio will grow.

Good job Rafa, strong repair.
-
yeah man…Rafa...you're getting really good with the needle work
-
thanks guys…unfortunately i had no blue-ish kinda thread for the repair (had to use the colours my neighbour had in his thread-box, since my repair-kit is back home in germany) so i only can imagine that it would look way better with an other kinda thread-color...more denim matching!
but whatever

mhh…tough question. is it VX denim so it surely stretches a ton..thighs would also stretch but I'm a little hesitant to encourage you to expect a full "back stretch"

Some impressions of Samurai's S/S collection 2012. Exhibition was in Tokyo and next stop will be Osaka.

cont.
Samurai will release some very interesting jeans next season with a little focus on vintage cuts. So there will be a new edition of the S7000 and of the S8000. For the one who like the slim S003JP, there will be another one of it with special 17oz denim.
But to top it all, I say S5000 cut, 24oz and AI !!!

S5000 24oz cut all the way BF.

Can anyone tell me which currently available models have the hidden arcs?

I'm thinking of getting my first pair of Samurai jeans, the 17oz Mid Rise Straight Leg Fit S5000BK Black from BiG. In the 634s I wear a 32, which fits well, though I probably could have went with a 31 and been okay. So does the Samurai denim stretch much after the soak? I'm debating on a 31 if there's some stretching or a 32 if none (this is also assuming that the soak shrinks the waist to the tagged size).
Thanks for the help
