Could be a bald thing- I prefer 4 buttons and I'm wearing Samurais right now, myself. Can't be a Euro thing, sorry.:)

Lets start a gang !!!!!!!!

Maybe that's a Euro thing.

Well, this thread had certainly gone downhill quickly…
To try and rescue it from the unrefined, uncouth juveniles, here is a quick pic of my Wind model Sammies:
Been wearing them for a couple of months now and they're starting to show some interesting fades.

Oh believe me, Rocket, I often feel like I'm too old for things that happen around here.
Then I look back at some of my posts and realize that I'm as big a child as anyone else.:)
And if we ever have the pleasure of meeting, I'm quite certain there will be many beers…

The IH-1955S have 5 buttons because the rise is longer that on other IH jeans. G
This was the only reason I could of imagined there being a reason for difference in button amounts.
-
Guess it makes sense that my Triple Works 1220s have only 3 buttons, since they have a low rise.

Will abuse this thread soon with fit pics of the S5000VX…
so after all this trouble (hey we now have 54 likes in this thread: at least something )
I don't think you will be really pleased with the S5000VX based on what I know from you. It is quite fitted in the top-block (which you like) but the straight leg might end up looking bootcut-esque. As you already had your 634 tapered (IIRC) to appeal to you, you might have to do the same with S5000VX if you want to keep&like them.

you'll see soon enough and can judge yourself
but besides that: 17oz only qualifies as pyjamas for you, eh?
