Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

@Jakederoche Here’s a picture of me wearing the 634 GR jeans slightly faded.

Has anyone ever floated a salt and pepper denim or twill like was found in old Swiss army nap sacks and utility trousers? I would love to see Haraki san’s take on that fabric. A work pant or cargo would be awesome. Even a type 3?
Or even a chore jacket…? ::)

Thank you Gils for the reply. Certainly a large order to fill and I don’t doubt your business sense for success. I just picture a heather grey Iron Heart denim and the vision is nothing less than glorious in my minds eye. Either way, always excited to see what is next to roll off the iron heart press! You guys are the best! Thank you again for the respect to hear your thoughts on the idea
@Jakederoche a good option would be the SBG fade to grey and wear the heck out of them/wash often, you’ll probably have a fairly grey pair of jeans in a few months but with some personalised fades

What is the future of the 21oz. White Denim? Will it ever return? I yearn for a white 888 jean, but I'd also be happy with the 634. Thank you!
We are rerunning 634, 666 and 555 shortly for delivery early next year. No plans for the 888 as yet

Checked them out. Pretty cool. Would be cool to see a light grey in the future. The white iron hearts are amazing but you pretty much have to commit to dirtying them up. Light grey would hide the dirt a bit better and would also be a great change up for those who can’t get away with blue denim at work. I bet they would sell out for sure. :-\
@Jakederoche get a pair of 21oz SBG and wash them in Oxi Clean a couple times. I'd remove the patch first because I have done this and the patch turned into a charcoal briquette.

I'm guessing this has come up before, but have y'all ever considered running the 1955s in XHS? Maybe you have already and they're just extinct.
Anyway, just curious! Been on a big trad / high waisted fit kick lately and I'd love to have the XHS in such a config.
EDIT: a search on the site seems to indicate that's never happened, but I do see a 1955 UHR… I'd certainly go for those if you're planning on including any of the 1955s in the upcoming run.

Guessing that's a no
I guess my post was halfway between a suggestion and a question, so in the spirit of the thread… I think you should make an XHS 1955.

I think it unlikely. It wasn’t that long ago that G was considering nixxing the whole cut. It is almost as marginal as the IH-436. Shame though as the only reason I haven’t tried the 1955 is due to the amount of 21oz I already own. I’d take the plunge if it came in XHS or UHR.
-
Yeah that's kinda my deal, too. I really like 21oz but I definitely like XHS better, and I think some other denims like the (pre-vintage, haven't tried that one yet) 18oz edge it out as well. That said, if the 1955s are ever phased out, I'll definitely pick up a pair if there's a final run (right now sz 33 is out in the 21oz).

I think the justification of a 1955 in UHR is that it IS a repro cut, so having it available in an unsanforized material is only fitting - plus, it opens Iron Heart up to more heritage minded wardrobes and those who limit themselves to heritage cuts in UnSanf fabrics.
Also, I feel the cut works so well with the UHR due to the aggressive taper, roomy top block, etc - it's a fit that is entirely comfortable day 1, even with the aggressive material.
With that being said, @FormulaPfaff 's 1955-UHR are the most spectacular jeans I have ever seen. I wish I would have snagged some new photos of them when I was with this past weekend, but maybe he will see this alert and post come cough cough
-
Yeah for sure, I think that the heritage thing is a little outside of IH's normal neighborhood. It certainly has some offerings that lean that way, but there's no 12"+ rise, really straight leg kind of jean happening aside from the 1955, which still has a fairly tame hem. I'd love to see something with a 9" opening.
I know IH has ventured outside lately with the slub denim, so hey — why not try a fit in the trad direction? I'm not saying old-timey or anything, but as a tall, skinny dude, I really get into that sorta stovepipe thing.

Love the picture! Thank you for taking the time jet! And also, yes; would be interesting to do a wash out with some Oxyclean on the fade to Greys ! Not sure I can handle the sacrifice on that experiment though! Best bet will be to put the fade to greys I have to work! They have been in the closet for a few months. It’s about that season to put some serious hours on them though :))))

Crazy idea [emoji362] What about giving the white/bleach dots treatment to the 14oz. Indigo/Black denim, and then using it to make some 14oz. Indigo/Black Wabash painter‘s pants and bib overalls? [emoji41]

Hello - my first post… as a newbie.
This jacket in terms of cut / weight / colour looks great but is a seasonal run and is OOS in my /almost all sizes:

Are there any plans to repeat this?

Hi there.
We will likely make it again (but no guarantees). However we have no 14ib in stock atm, so we are re-weaving as I type….
If you want an email notification when/if we restock, please do this:

Good luck......
