IHSH-349-GRN - 9oz Selvedge Ombré Check Work Shirt - Green
-
Went this in work shirt and will hopefully go indigo in western if I can sell a few things to get that one.
-
There are too many first time with IH for me lately. First 9 Oz Ombre.
Did manage to try out at Gosport. It is different from UHF and both are differently excellent -
I’m a medium in all western ih shirts do I stick with medium or size down
-
I would go with Size chart. If you check both work shirt of Indigo and Green, it is slightly different. I think it will be quite far off comparing with western. Just my 2 cents.

@Mindfulbiscuit Please measure your best fitting IH Western shirt and compare the measurements to those listed here: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/733343

My western our medium and the medium work shirts our 2 cm bigger but I do like that on a work shirt I think I’ve answered the question thanks
-
FWIW I wear M in work and western. The measurements are different because the fits are different and both fit the way a M should on me.
Still trying to get one of these but the site won’t let me use my PP Credit. Fortunately there seems to be enough to last through the weekend until someone can help me sort it out.

Waiting on the western version of this one!
-
Yeah I get what you mean the western more slim in a good way and the work shirt is more roomy in a good way but still a medium I did want the western version but I have quite a few western now so I need a change even the western versions dope
-
Idk i think this one has something or so. Normally i’m a western all the way kinda guy but this one looks sweet! Can’t wait to see the first fitpics here from anyone of you
-
We’ll make it ‘work’

Seems like a lot of premier Japanese flannel makers ( i.e UES , IH ) are having a hard time with colors as of late. I have some 9oz westerns, don't get me wrong, they're the best made shirt on the market but these colorways are just missing the mark. While other sub-par brands are killing it in the pattern and color options. Maybe us Americans just don't know style when we see it.

@HalfPastNever Ironheart is a continuation of the style and aesthetic I have been wearing for over 30 years, albeit much better in quality, fit, and durability than anything from my youth.
I bought my first type 3 jacket 37 years ago and still wear variations of those jackets today from IH. I have consistently worn Jeans, Flannels, and T-shirts for that time and plan to wear the clothing I’ve purchased in the past 8 years from IH for the next 20 years (and hopefully more).
I’m not chasing trends nor fashion, but want the best in quality of garments that I can afford with the style and aesthetic that I am drawn to.
In my opinion, Ironheart fits that niche perfectly
-
@HalfPastNever maybe the thing you’re looking for isn’t IH then. I don’t think IH is missing anything, they just got something that other brands are missing in my opinion and that’s the best quality in the business. Still you can’t be drawn to there patterns etc. but that’s not something IH is missing but something you’re missing and maybe you’ll find that at another brand but i don’t think you’ll find it in the same quality but that’s just my 2 cents

@HalfPastNever interesting you're making this point in this particular threat. To me the 349 is just perfect, in pattern and colour. But that is a matter of taste, and I wouldn't wear a lot of other flannels that are around. Also, I don't wear hoodies, while others came here for them. To me Ironheart offers many ways of slightly different styles under one umbrella. Pick the stuff you like, and leave the rest. Be yourself, or find it in case you're still searching. But don't expect to find the style that 'hits the mark' generally. Individuality is beauty.
