ALDEN

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Finn wants to avoid the bleeding issue he had with his RWs. Don't get me wrong, those are beautiful boots, but it would be a shame to fork out the coin and not be able to wear them with your favourite jawnz.
At least with a dark leather you can mitigate the visual affects of the inevitable.
-
Well, the argument can be made that if you are willing to spend $500 on a pair of boots then you should be able to afford to wear them and endure the consequences that arise from everyday use. However, for some, exceptional quality and aesthetic is a luxury….and sometimes luxuries get babied. haha.

I never understood why people are afraid of indigo stains…
this…and actually the indigo stains aren
t the problem at all... just don
t want that boxy toebox anymore and since im on the hunt for some Aldens since almost a year now, i think it

Dunno what's wrong with asking questions when interested in something???
Just asked what other sizes you wear in different shoes/boots/sneakers and what the insole length of your pair is…nothing else mate!
Just the normal questions one need to know the answers of, to find out if one can make these work or not!…Since I'm a US9 in most of my stuff I don't want to buy a US8.5 just to find out that I only can wear these with thin socks and shit...so I'll go with a US9 and KNOW that these gonna be a good fit…
Really dunno why you being mad now...
-
nothing's wrong with questions. just when you get an answer to said question say what your intention is. pretty straight forward & don't send me a pm saying i'm not interested after i put up my message here & then say what i'm mad about in the public forum.
keep your story the same in public & behind closed doors.
i'm just say we don't do it like that on this side pretty weaksauce if you ask me
damn, i'm a bastard, letting the real me show

Sizing advice is…. tough... best bet is to just jump in and get one and go from there. Every person's foot is different and there's a million things that will affect the fit: how tight you tie your laces, socks, etc etc. I'd suggest you go with a stockist that can work with you to determine the closest match for your size and will accept a return in case it still doesn't work out. Since you are in Germany, that might be harder but I think most of the online stockists ship internationally.

Hey guys, i have a few newbie questions here..:
Firstly..where can you get alden shoes online since there's no stockists here in Perth..
And second, how is the quality on these shoes? (pretty good from what i'm reading) and do they last long?
Im really interested in buying a suede chukka boot but does suede last long? and are they hard to maintain?
I drive a lot so which model do you think is best for me? I want good durability and comfy for both walking and driving (I'm gonna wear this daily)
Thanks guys!

for regular items - try theshoemart - they don´t have the best customer service but a realtively big stock …
the chukka is a great choice for driving and walking , but I would rather put my money down for a pair of Indy´s
best service - www.leathersoulhawaii.com - talk to Tom …
