IRON HEART WAYWT - 2025 EDITION
-
2 things.

I wasn’t sure about this style choice. I’ve been wearing the 142 quite often but not over just a black t-shirt. I know… risky stuff.
-
It’s the warmest day of the year so far. On my walk it was about 55 and I got a little warm.
When I got back to the office I complained it was too hot outside and my coworkers started throwing food at me. “Not with the serge jacket on you losers”.

@pechelman The lenses (even before I put RX in) were really putting a lot of strain on my eyes. Giving me a nauseous feeling and eye discomfort. I think it was the tint gradient ultimately. I had RX put in to match the style of the original lens. The tint was like, darker on top and transitioning into lighter tint as it went to the bottom of the lens.
Still bothered me. Next time we tried polarized and less tint gradient. Still bothered me but a lot less. Finally we just did an even tint color over the whole lens and that took away all the discomfort. -
Free tickets to the dubs game tonight
Lefty OD type 111 on the way here from the UK. Pretty sick Monday -

I have a question for all you WAYWRers. My selfies look terrible, so I need to know how are we taking our pictures. Is it a tripod , selfie stick, camera on timer , significant other? Please show a picture of your set up. Also any tips for settings would be appreciated .
-
@Heritage_Guy I balance mine on a window pane, appreciate the natural light coming in front before the camera.

-
Everything looks good over a black Tee (especially that badass jacket)
-
Food fight fades!!!
-
-
@Heritage_Guy Significant other, balancing on a ledge and using a timer, and one arm stretched with the camera facing me.
-
@Heritage_Guy I balance my phone on a tissue box on top of a table(to get the height I like)with a water bottle behind it to hold it up with an 10 second timer…also with a window in front for good lighting.
-
@Heritage_Guy sometimes my pics go straight in the reject pile before posting but you will get better over time. I mostly take mine outside as the light’s better. After too many phone vs brick near misses I got a cheapish phone tripod which at least helps with nerves! I think it’s one of these. It can’t cope with wind but works well enough in normal conditions and fits in a jacket pocket.

@Mizmazzle picked up that ues from a fellow IH Army member. Fantastic shirt/fabric
-
@CosmoSix5 agreed. Wonderful weight, texture, dripping with indigo, and an incredible fit.

Got rained out 20 minutes after this as is to be expected this time of year in the Vancouver area.
Wearing Iron Heart 21oz 555SSB, Attractions Lot444 Engineers, Bronson MFG long sleeve Henley and la pièce de résistance, a Y’2 EB-140 jacket.
