Dyeing clothes changing colour.

I put my silicone Otterbox phone case in the indigo vat and it worked! It was light blue before and now it's a beautiful shade of indigo I did not think it would take the dye but it totally did. I can post a photo of it tomorrow morning. Now the question is: oh you know it already.

X-posting these here because it seems relevant to share from the New Balance thread.
I dipped these 998s in the indigo vat last weekend I think about five times. I did these on a whim and they actually turned out to be the prize of the whole weekend. I'm really happy with how these turned out. They were grey and pale yellow with some blue in a few spots. I love how indigo blue some of the areas turned, especially the upper heel area. Wow that blue is bright! What do you all think?

@Oaktavia They do say Abzorb! So you can go literally full indigo now? They look better than grey that’s for sure.

@Mister_Brue haha yeah buddy!

@Oaktavia Is the mark where you have scuffed them since dying, or where it didn’t take so well? I think these are going to look rad with some wear.

It's a scuff from before dyeing them and the dye didn't take to that area well. Character showing through pretty much. I'm guessing they will shed indigo and turn brown again with wear. Unless the dye penetrated the leather and it soaked it up like a sponge. Don't really know

@pechelman I had a demon in my head that saw my Extractor jacket that said "DUNK IT IN THAT VAT BOY!" but I didn't give in.
