IHSH-295-IB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo/Black
-
@Boit yeah man. It’s def a beefcake shirt. Going to make this the one I wear nonstop for the next year or so. See what I can get it to evo into.
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot believe it or not, my first shirt with pearlies. How rad is it that IH offers snap options like they do? Unheard of.
-
Does any one wear an XL in this and wouldn’t mind posting chest and shoulder measurements?
-
@MassiveThighs measurements for the one I got:
-
@Boit brother u are great help, ty
-
Question.
Does this shirt run a bit bigger than other shirts? I just got the xxl, and it’s a bit roomier -
@MassiveThighs mine fits about the same as the many other size large IH westerns I have. The thickness of it makes it feel a bit boxy.
As you know, each shirt can have a bit of size variance due to the handmade nature of the build.
If you wanted to nerd out a bit you could measure your 295 and then measure another shirt of the same tag size and see how they compare. Could give you some useful insight into your measurement preferences.
-
@Mizmazzle yeah it’s a tad bigger everywhere compared to my 293. And yes of course there is variance.
I might exchange it for an XL, but worry that might be too small. And completely agree with you being a bit boxy at the moment.
-
@MassiveThighs you are getting the hard part figured out and now you need to finesse those measurements. Pick the items that fit really well and how you like them and write those measurements down to use as a guide for future purchases.
90% of the time I am a (larger size large) or a (smaller size XL) depending on how the items measure for each release. The two measurements that mean the most to me are the shoulders and the chest.
On occasion, I email the crew when making a purchase and let them know exactly what I’m looking for if some of the posted measurements don’t work out.
The posted measurements are always key for purchases and the tag sizes, while helpful, are only a guide. Trust the measurements and you will end up with happiness with every purchase.
Comparing yourself to someone else will most always lead to disappointment.
I really like the what weighs more 100 pounds of feathers or 100 pounds of lead? Which one takes more space? We all carry weight differently and comparing two body sizes is like comparing apples to bricks. It just doesn’t work.
-
@MassiveThighs haha mines smaller than my other ihsh's. Go figure.

@MassiveThighs it's confusing for sure. Looks great though.
-
The 295 measurements look bigger innthe p2p, length and sleeve. The 293 looks bigger only in the shoulder measurement. Sonthe 295 should feel bigger in my opinion.
-
Agree with @yannis here, based on the posted measurements the expected outcome would be exactly what you experienced, that the 295 fits bigger.
-
@Davids_denim @Mizmazzle @Boit Damn, these snap upgrades take this shirt to another level.
-
@Davids_denim Great shot; shirt looks awesome! Thanks for the updates in line with the new drop.
-
@MassiveThighs the 293 looks like it’s bigger to me in the pics. The 295 looks like a nice fit. Once the sleeve creases set in the arms will look cleaner and less balloon like. They will come up a bit too.
-
@Mizmazzle I returned the 295 XXL for an XL. I’m pushing it I think, but was told I can always return the XL for XXL if it doesn’t work out
-
@Mizmazzle all about a little extra sleeve length for stacks. Some of the best fading happens there!
