IH-888D - 17oz Duck Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Brown
-
@Fadez a little but not as much as denim, as I understand it.
-
@goosehd yup that's what I did! See attached picture.
-
@Fadez I bought my 555 ducks a couple of weeks ago and they were very tight in the waist to start with. Two weeks in they are still tight but not uncomfortable, they have loosened up a small amount. Have to say I agree with @popvulture they stretch a little, but not as much as denim.
-
I'll be going for my ideal post-stretch 21oz 888 cut denim waist (and thigh) measurement on this since they apparently wont stretch, but will soften up :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed:

Does the duck stretch at all?
Just to confuse things, I definitely got stretch out of mine. I have a tag 33 which are a comfy 34+ inches actually. Can't remember what the size chart said a 33 should have been when I purchased, but it definitely wasn't that big.

Ah, finally. Order placed.

@cityofdelusion congratulations! same here

@SonnyTheElder - in case you are not watching this thread. There's been a restock and I recall you were interested.
-
@Karol Likewise! We were two of the "crazy" ones that have been stalking this restock for a while now it seems...
-

Congrats @cityofdelusion
Goes well with black leather
-
I've been waiting for the restock for some time, so I got myself a 36 today. I hope I get them before the weekend here in Los Angeles.
-
@EdH Thank you sir, I appreciate the heads up!
Like a lot of folks here, I've been patiently awaiting this one but did a last minute audible and got the 634 version. I have a couple of 888s and 633s but this will be my first 634, I hope it works!
-
@weftyarn Ha! looking forward to it!
-
Argh I've been wanting these for so long but just so unsure now. The size that's best for my waist has just a bit too narrow of hem openings for my taste. Maybe it's worth sizing up and getting the waist taken in at a tailor?

@schraiber If one of the dimensions is giving you problems, please email the crew: shop@ironheart.co.uk and ask for help.
The other option is to put a comment in your order when you place for a specific dimension. The guys will try their best to accommodate your request.
