@T4920 They look excellent! Mine never really showed high contrast fades. Maybe I've washed them too much, or the fabric is just too stretchy and light.
Let's see how the 21oz 888s will turn out. I've worn them daily for a little over a month; the octopus jeans and my 2526j became my uniform. I'm really looking forward to see how the duck fabric will evolve.
I've worn a 526Lod since last summer before the ducks. The lefty od fabric is probably my favourite but I do not like to longish cut on me anymore. If the forum offers the opportunity to trade my lefty for a shorter denim type 3, I'd be super delighted :).
-
@RobeOfTheMagi yeah, my Edwins were definitely worn at a time where my dirty teenage self wouldn't hesitate to go nine months to a year without a wash..
Lefty OD is my main jacket, and will be for many, many years to come! Try to mix it up a couple of times a week though to avoid jacket fatigue, leather type 3 a great alternative for the cooler months, and Wabash work jacket in the summer!

Hey everyone,
I'm Matt, thanks for having me as part of this community! My foray into the finer fabrics in life began a handful of years back through motorcycle culture here in Vancouver, Canada. Collecting choice pieces has been a hobby of mine which has really blossomed lately; and nothing quite compares to the materials and quality of the products Iron Heart continues to release! I have enjoyed lurking the forum for fit-inspo and fade refernces on pieces which piqued my interest, so I figured it was time to join and contribute myself.
-
@T4920 haha I figure if you're going to make folks read your "about me" blurb you may as well make it fun!
It certainly has proven to be a fantastic use of my spare moments, and inadvertently has lead to my collections expansion... for better or for worse

Hello everyone, my name is Chris and I am from the States (Michigan). I found IH last week while reading about denim and the styles caught my eye. Looking forward to the next release of 1955S whether in Indigo or SBG. Cheers!

I'm Eric from Toronto, ON.
I have lurked on here but last week I signed up for the forum. I just acquired my first piece of IH (634S) and I have 8 wears in them so far. I have been a raw/selvedge jean lover for years with the 501 shrink to fit back in the day. I love heritage style and workwear for its classic appeal and durability.
Besides clothing, my hobbies are cycling, record collecting, music and most recently pickleball with my wife
Looking forward to getting to know the other IH passionists

Hello from Bavaria!
Hi to the Iron heart forum,
my name is Marc and I am living near Munich in Germany. I signed up some weeks ago and I really like the relaxed atmosphere in the forum. So many information, so many beautiful photos from clothes, so many different people who all like denim. I am a fan of the 777 25oz version but up to now I did not have so much luck to find one.
Like a real denimhead, I was in Mekka (=Kojima , Japan) with its beautiful stores on the jeans street. Momotaro, Japan Blue Jeans..but the Iron Heart store was closed.
In Germany I could not get my size and instead I found a beautiful black Paloma from Schaeffer‘s Garment Hotel. Now I wear the jeans almost every day and I am sure after I have the first contrast fades, I will find my 777!!
Besides Denim, I love photography, especially portraits.Cheers
Marc

@Marc2706 welcome! I’m an occasional visitor to Munich (1-2 times a year) but based in the UK. There are a few guys on here from your part of the world including one who’s a regular contributor to the photography thread, which you might enjoy.
