You are correct. They stretch and snug up easily.

My local shop just started carrying IH. I stopped by and tried on the 777 and 555. I had low expectations with fit as the super slim name scared me. I was more than pleasantly surprised. These will definitely be my summertime go to jeans.
They don’t have a hemming service so I’m trying the fancy schmancy French cuff…. for now.

Fit looks killer @summ3rhays.
I received shipment of these yesterday as well and they are just fucking great . Definitley a difference in this new 14oz fabric from the original in a good way. They feel crispier to me with a bit more saturated appearance in the color. This is all just based off of memory though. Killer fabric and the 777 cut just works for me. I agree that the super slim nomenclature is a bit misleading for this cut and that "Slim Tapered" may be a more accurate. Either way IH kills it again with this pair.
777 14oz OD and 14oz BlackxBlack here I come.

This denim is certainly a lot more substantial and rigid than I expected. I’m sure they’ll break in and soften up in no time like the 21oz does, but I swear this denim feels at least as heavy as the 16oz Vintage does.

@summ3rhays Great fit, glad you got the chance to try the 777. Also great you're supporting one of our new retailers!

The Eco denim has to be woven at high tension because the staples in the recycled yarns are comparatively short, that will contribute to the feeling of heft…

Don’t get me wrong, I love it. The 142 denim, that is. No idea about the Eco denim. ::)

Agree with this 100%. This is a positive thing IMO.

I really do love this denim. It occurred to me today that it doesn’t seem as much like a lighter version of the 21oz denim like I expected, but rather a lighter version of the 25oz. The weave is a little tighter like the 25oz, and therefore it’s a bit more rigid for a while and takes longer to break in than the 21oz. In short, it’s pretty awesome stuff. Go figure.

Do you find it stretches out/relaxes slower that the 21oz?

Definitely. The 142 denim seems to not have a lot of stretch. Huge difference compared to the 21oz.

@neph93 I also agree with Dion and classic that the 14oz V 2.0 stretches out slower than the 21oz. It's not your typical 14oz but then I'm sure you already knew that.

Is that some electric blue starting to peek through? Can’t wait to see more of this.
