IH-526-ODG "Party Jacket Tour"

Loud and proud patch! Nice touch!
-
Hey guys. Hopefully I can get on board. I had the chance to rethink this one and I’d really like to leave my marks or at least a patch on this great jacket.
I declined when offered at fish and chips because I have the prototype and thought it probably wouldn’t make sense to have two but the chance to share the fun is too attractive.
If I can join in let me know.
Thanks and hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Thanks for all the kind words, y’all. I’m a lucky gal, for sure.
We had a date night, last night. Went to the best Vietnamese restaurant the southeast has ever seen, and then to the movies. The sky opened up for a crazy downpour while we were eating, but the sun came out by the time we got to the theater. We saw “The Spy Who Dumped Me.” It was way better than I expected. Definitely hilarious, and not only because of Kate McKinnon.Somebody couldn’t resist a little baby popcorn, even after all that noodley goodness.

@sabergirl Asheville!! Really cool. Born and bread? I’m from Charleston SC. Just love the mountains of NC. Dig the patch! You two make a very cute couple. I’m glad the laws have finally caught up to the times in the south.
Keep your food pics coming, they’re great inspiration -
Now we are three, who dig this patch!
Reminds me a litle bit of the Patagonia Logo.
But that is exactly what I like!
Greatlegpatchjob @sabergirl ! -
I want that patch on a trucker hat

You think you love the patch, the lil mountain town that's its namesake is way prettier! I'm not sure I realized you were american, @Jim – what took you from SC to Cologne? There's got to be a story there.
There IS a great story there… He gave us pretty much the entire rundown at F&C

Very true. I think Asheville is one of the prettiest places in North Carolina.

I have many memories of that area, as my grandparents lived in Hendersonville for about 30 years. BEAUTIFUL autumn scenery up in the mountains

@sabergirl Tattooing. That’s the Ultra short version. Did any of you know that tattooing was illegal in South Carolina until 2005!?! I moved to Florida in the early 90s and that’s where I began tattooing. In 2001 I visited Germany for a guest spot. And then I met my wife! That’s the condensed version
@UnTucked sorry, but you’ll probably hear it again someday… -

Seriously? That's crazy. My brother got a couple when he lived in Columbia, and I'm pretty sure he didn't go out of state to have it done. Were shops just unlicensed and subject to random law enforcement?](https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=8607)

I’m quite sure there were some underground shops and of course the kitchen jockeys but it wasn’t legal. If they caught you they’d confiscate any equipment, money and anything else they wanted to as well as a stiff fine and potential jail(probably only if you ran your mouth)](https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=8607) #smfpackscodeChris

That’s cool, Jim. I’ve always heard good things about Cologne. I hope to travel to Germany, some day.
Yesterday I scraped up some old glue down carpet in our back hallway that had become a bit of a shooting gallery for our geriatric chihuahuas. Hopefully it will become a less appealing place for them to pee now that it’s bare linoleum. Ah the joys of home “ownership”. Technically we rent from my Dad, but I certainly handle all of the projects around here.
After that, I needed a serious meal, so I fried up some steaks and potatoes for us. Oh, and broccolini—a common feature of our meals.
This evening we are drinking mezcal and working on this really hard puzzle that has been monopolizing the dining table for waaay too long. I know—we’re the coolest. Hey, this jacket has never partied so hard as at my house, y’all. Also, Marcia refused to lean into the puzzle selfie, so the weirdo made hand gestures instead. I tried to tell her to get into the forum spirit and flip everyone off, but she wouldn’t.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
