Looks like you’re having a great time. Did I calculate correctly that you have about 100 miles (160 Kim’s) to travel? How much of that is open water (no land close by)? What’s your cruising speed 6-9 knots?
Definitely a journey and hope your weather holds out.
If I cross Lake Ontario from my house to Rochester, New York, it’s 55 linear miles. My boat cruises 30 MPH, but can go 48 mph. However at that speed it’s hard on gas. I keep wanting to try the trip, but storms can show up out of anywhere, and the boats only 22 feet long. We can get waves 6-10 feets extremely quickly and I don’t want to be too far from shore when they strike.
Enjoy the journey!!

Hi Dennis.
We try and cruise at about 10 knots, though we had 14.5knots speed over ground (SOG) earlier today, as we had a lot of current up our chuff.
At 10knots we burn about 40 liters (about 8.7 US gallons) per hour, Pilgrim will do a max of about 18 knots (and burns about 120 LPH, so we try not to do that too often).
We are currently moored in Poole Harbour, I guess we have done about 40 miles since yesterday. Winds gusting to about 20knots, so a bit lumpy at times…..
