Looks great @Pipeboss713
I can't help but feel if I break down and buy one of these id opt for black permex snaps. I assume you haven't really worn it without sleeves underneath, do you find wool itchy? -

Not bad
Can be done but I prefer a long sleeve layer underneathSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Pipeboss713 - you are right about the shirt. Not so itchy… the wool feels very substantial against my arms.
I sized up from large to XXL to allow layering. I feel like the shirt runs pretty slim given the weight.
Great shirt… horrible pics

Had the pleasure of trying this on at James Dant yesterday. It was the piece that surprised me the most, the one I didn’t have high expectations for, but now I can’t get it out of my head. The melton is thick and soft, like a dense felt. The fit is trim. The hand warmers are appreciated and well placed. The black is deep and dark. The copper snaps give the only contrast you need. And you get the body armor sensation in a big way.
BTW I highly recommend James Dant both in person and online shopping are a pleasure and they have excellent curation.

The last Medium on stock from this awesome CPO shirt, check here: https://ironheartgermany.com/products/ihsh-306-blk-melton-wool-c-p-o-shirt-black -
which size do you recommend? I wear both size M in IH flannels for a tailored fit and L for a comfortable fit
-
@Brunell - The same will apply here. Personally, I opted for the bigger size when inbetween sizes as still looks good as a standalone shirt with room for a sweater underneath as well so can be worn as intended, You will have limited opportunities with an M by the sounds of it.

ok then i will go to size L, thanks Graham

Surprised to see these in the outlet. I’ve had mine for almost two years now and really love it, one of my most worn IH pieces.
