IH-555-SST - 21oz Shinayaka Selvedge Denim - Super Slim - Indigo

Thanks fellas!!
I went with a 36. I am 6'1" 185ish. There is room in the waist and I need a belt straight away for these but no chance the thighs on the 34 would have worked, as in NOOOOO chance

We are nearly doppelgängers. Hard to find a snug waist with thighs that will fit in any of the tapered cuts.

Anyone on the fence with these needs to pull the trigger. The fit is there. The stretch is minimal, but there. It's like your favorite pair of 555-01's with enough stretch that you don't notice it. Hard to explain how easy these jeans are to wear.
I ride motorcycles daily and the 555-01's were a no-go. My slightly larger 777's gave me some more room, but still - not motorcycle friendly. These are. They remind me of thicker 511's. Just the right amount of stretch, yet you get a heavy denim with what seems to be great fading potential.
After 1 wash/dry I've got some electric blue's popping through in higher wear areas. Not bad for slightly less than a month of every day wear.
Excited to see how these turn out in 2 - 3 months with more riding another wash/dry or 2. Should look as worn as my 555-01's!

Makes me super happy to read this. Very similar to my experience with the sample pair. Hope to see photo's down the line.

Well, this is my first 555 cut and I found my pair really super-slim, but in the right way. Love it!
I went whit w29, like I did with IH-634s and IH-888s: I think they fit very well
About stretch, I really can feel it.
You can clearly feel the stretch by "pinching" them!
I'll post some pics after a few days of wear. -
… And this is it.
First of all, this is my first "super slim" pair and I have to say that yes, they are slim.
But let's lose this aspect, because the point of interest of this model is denim, The New 21oz + 2% Polyurethane Formula.
After a few days of worn I can confirm the stretch component is present and palpable, more than any other pair of stretch jeans I've ever worn, including Levi's 502. Apparently, the more fabric is heavy, the more stretch component is noticeable.
Good or bad? It's funny, for now.
Only time will tell us if this Shinayaka will become more or less soft and comfortable than the classic Iron Heart's 21oz... -
Haraki mentioned that they are going to be back in two colours - indigo and black. I hope it’s not only for Japan.

@Daniel-San Same here! Ever since I came across @neph93 summary of the fabric and the cut.
