@Bored In Breck what a lovely doggo. Looks to be a pup still?

My gf and I have a ritual “lazy Sunday” where we do as little as possible. She works two jobs and I one, so Sunday is the day we get to spend time together or do solo things. I’ll probably pop into my indoor garden for an hour or so before we do a late breakfast and gym, and then decide if we want to go anything productive

Thanks @neph93, he is 1.5 years. He absolutely loves the snow. Currently training as an avalanche rescue dog. Still needs to dig through snow in his days off….

Ha! Ya it’s pretty awesome Chap ! There are loads of these great word paintings he does. They can be viewed on his instagram along with his wild puppet routines. I believe there is another puzzle entitled “SHITSHOW” that can be found ,along with this one, at genuinefred.com

Finished up this partitioned off room in my shop space today! All materials are beetle killed/standing dead local spruce including all the framing and joisting. Turned out pretty handsome I think.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Giles !
The alternating treads can take some getting used to. These stairs are hinged and will be on a block and tackle in order get them out of the floor space.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Helped a friend with the raising of this timber frame carport today. Again all materials are local beetle killed spruce.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@stingraygun Is the woodworking what you do for a living? And I guess what most on here are interested in - do you wear IH gear to work, and how is it holding up?

Anything special going in the carport ?

Anything special going in the carport ?
I’m going to be disappointed if it’s not a car…

I’m primarily a timber framer by trade. This particular frame was designed and cut by a friend of mine and he just needed some extra hands with the raising.
Initially I found with IH jeans being at a higher price point I might not want to scrap em up too much but that quickly turned into occasionally working in them and then to not babying them in the least. They are tough and only gain more beauty with rowdy wears.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This frame was for what appeared to be a very wealthy client from California. I’m not sure what’s going in the carport but it will likely have a large price tag.

Love seeing the mortise and tenon joinery!! Are you using jigs?
I did not design or cut this frame. Most of the layout I do for timber framing is French scribed as a lot of the materials I work with are wildly out of square and/or live edged pieces.
Here’s a frame I cut last fall.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
