IHSW-10-BLK - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Zip Up Hoodie - Black

I have one of these coming to me as well in L, and similarly have a 3sixteen in the same size, so it's good to hear the fits line up. Really stoked, been wanting to check out an IH hoodie for quite a while.

Hi Alex and team I received my hoodie last night and it’s simply the best I’ve ever handled. Can’t thank you enough. I’m an XXL in most IH tops and love the way the XXL fits. Plenty of room but not baggy.

@68degreesorless thank you very much for the feedback. I really think we have nailed it with the slightly tweaked fit on these hoodies!

New hoodie and some XHS ib

Haha thank you kindly

Holy shit, how can IH continue to exceed my expectations even after all this time… I was actually laughing at how good this felt when I tried it on, which is as weird as it sounds…
This is a large, I’m 6’1 and just shy of 180lb. I was worried it’d be too tight but I’m very happy with the fit.

Picked this thing up from Self Edge in San Francisco a few weeks ago. As you all know, it is unbelievable. They told me it is the best hoodie money can buy. I agree.
The Large fit so perfect. I am a happy boy. -

Awesome pick up, I too am in love with mine right now. I think it might be the best fitting item of clothing I’ve ever owned, and it’s one of the nicest feeling materials I’ve ever encountered.

Best fit and fabric. Size M.

Don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask, but has anyone compared this to an American giant hoodie? Outwardly they seem to share some similarities with very heavyweight fabric (13 & 14oz, respectively). I've had one for exactly 3 years now that I basically live in, especially during COVID, that's just starting to look a little frayed on the cuffs and forearm seams and was considering a replacement. I like the double zip and extra ounce of fabric weight on the IH but I also like the big hood, longer length, and nicer hood pulls and grommets from the AG. There's also a price difference. Curious if anyone has any experience with both. Thanks and happy to move my question somewhere else.

The American giant hoodie I had was pretty nice, but the weight felt way more than one ounce difference. Iron Heart fleece is best, and by far the heaviest I’ve experienced.
Quoted for truth.
Finally decided to go for it as it seems the AG hoodie is deteriorating faster since this post was made. At first I thought the fabric weight was more similar but after comparing more closely it's much more tightly woven, with a much harder face, and a good bit more windproof. The fit on me is much better in the IH as well with the AG being cut more boxy and longer in the sleeves and body. Both size large, but the AG is all stretched out to 24.25/19.5 while the new IH is new at 23.0/19.0.
At first I was thinking the only thing the AG really had over the IH was the reinforced elbows, but now I'm realizing it's all those extra seams that are starting to fall apart and making it look ratty. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another AG, it's a good value relatively speaking, but the IH hoodie is so nice, and I'm a sucker for dual zip. I also very much appreciate the slimmer sleeves and normal sized hood. If I could dream one feature to add, it would be to have internal drop pockets like on some other hoodies, and similar to the IH modified type 3s.

Could anyone compare to a Reigning champ midweight? Can’t seem to find details on the fabric weight for RC
