IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Looks good @Soleamp , you got them on so half the battle out of the way. I agree, gotta log some time, they stretch back out in the waist nicely. Personally I had to get used to the coin pocket before it was broken in, the extra 25oz in my right pocket felt funny at first

@Dmart @Joberwocky Thanks, starting wearing them today…even though is very hot out there.
-
Great fit, @Soleamp

@xtcclassic Show us your 666 XHS. You were one of my inspirations (from the pictures you posted) for me to get this cut. I'd be keen to see where your denim stands on the fades.
-
@xtcclassic @MrSmith Thanks! I've been wearing them the last few days in the heat, so it's been an adventure!
-
@the246guy they probably haven’t progressed much from whenever I posted pics the last time, I only wear them during the winter and I can only wear them 2 days a week so they’re on more of a mammalian evolutionary schedule rather than a viral one. I’ll try to get some pics up soon-ish.
-
I posted these in the buy/sell thread but the photos are kinda dope so I'm posting here too!

About five years in but lots of rotation so not that much wear. Fades starting to come through but they're in that perfect soft way now. The weather has turned, I couldn't be happier.. Washed when dirty, always cold, always hung up without a spin, and of course never ever a dryer–-so coming along. If I live as long as these jeans it will be a miracle.
-
It is Day 24 and I made up a small wear tracker as shown below. Not a neat solution, but helps me keep count of how long I have been wearing them.
-
Nice @the246guy. Wallet is looking good too.

666 size 33 arrived and will need to be exchanged for 888 or 777 depending on feedback from the IH guys. My thighs definitely did not fit the 666 cut. The 25oz denim won this time… on to something different.
Size issues aside... the quality of the 25oz denim is insane. It is like folding cardboard.

Going to need some advice. I accidentally sat on a piece of furniture that had some hard glue, but luckily it did not stick that much. Is there a way to get it cleaned? I can throw it into the washing machine and give it a wash, but I would prefer to wear it unwashed as long as possible. I tried rubbing it with a damp cloth, but get it to artificially fade on that particular area which I do not quite like. Any ideas?

Any ideas?
Use a hair drier to soften the glue then a needle to pick at the glue to take it out. Go slowly and carefully.

I’ve had this happen and, like Neph said, I was able to get it off with some heat. I used a very hot dryer (they weren’t great jeans) and I was able remove it. I believe it did leave a mark, but it faded with time and wear.

I managed to get the most out of it, but ended up leaving a patch that looks artificially faded. Hope this blends with the natural fades over the next months and years. Thanks for all the help!

Washed. Updated pics
