@__Nicholas I'm on the lookout for a Bronson CC too, the Scout was a consideration as where the YT Capra and Raaw Madona V2 but what you get with a Santa Cruz its just so much more. Im probably going to part out my Chameleon for the bronson build, just need to keep an eye out for a Fox 36 Factory w/boost that I don't have to pay retail for.

Treated the Moots to some new bar tape. Brooks cambium rubber tape in a petrol blue colour, absolute PITA to wrap.

Specialised Allez Élite 2020

Brompton clear lacquer 3 speed with Brooks Grips and Saddle, also rebuilt Filson briefcase to fit Brompton luggage rack.

Recently upgraded from an old Gary Fisher to a 2021 SC Chameleon, 26.5 Plus build, great fun in the muddy woods this time of year.
Take a look at bird.bike also, great value.

Back in December I placed an order for my dream bike. ETA at the time was six months. This past Friday the shop surprised me with my bike built up.

Beautiful! You running electronic shifting on that?
I recently replaced my stolen Specialized Allez with this Scott Addict RC30, a big upgrade. Also went full Garmin Vector 3 and Edge with a Wahoo Kickr Core. Did three centuries last summer, hoping for more this season and have signed up for my first two triathlons, culminating in a 70.3 at the end of August. Depending on how things go an Iron Man might happen next summer.
Loving this new bike so far. Have never had a carbon frame, disc brakes, power meter, turbo trainer, more. Pretty pleased with the fully internal cabling and the purple/green colour too. I’ve been on it every day since I’ve got it, lots of fun. Have enjoyed zwift racing with a friend on another continent.

@Nkwkfld yep it's full Dura Ace Di2. I have an upgraded crank and chainrings on the way as well as upgraded rotors and saddle so the bike will be down to just over 15 lbs when everything has been swapped, which is pretty damn light for an aero bike.
The Scott looks great. Allez' are great bikes but there is definitely a difference in ride between aluminum and carbon in terms of overall performance.
Zwift races are really fun and the platform in general is great for training. Since winters where I am aren't great for outside rides most days I have spent my fair share on it the past 6 months. It's also fantastic for structured training and dropping in custom workouts.

Took advantage of the warmest day of the year so far to get the first proper ride on the new bike. Really fun.

First MTB I've had since the about 2000 or so, STOKED would be the best way to describe how I feel about the situation…

I'm doing my first two triathlons this summer and a first marathon. The first tri is The Huntsman (Swim 1200m, Bike 33km, Run 10km) then later in the summer going back to the same venue in the New Forest for a longer race (Swim 1.9km, Bike 90km, Run 21km). If all goes well, I'll aim for an ironman next summer. What about you?

@Nkwkfld nice, that sounds great! I've been doing triathlon for about 8 years or so now, granted last year was a total wash. I've done many shorter distance tri's, amongst 20 or so Half Ironman races, and 3 Full ironmans. This year I have a Half Ironman in St George UT and a Full in Mont Tremblant Canada and another full in Sacramento CA. Not sure what races will happen in North America this year with all the Covid restrictions,

Loving this thread. Congrats @zhivago! Awesome to see you on here. I have been appreciating your posts since way back. I am researching bikes at the moment. We have some great trails here in Northern California. Thanks for the smile.

I can hear you @zhivago
We drove over 600 kilometer, to catch up this bike for my son. The MTB market is getting wild and crazy at the moment, on continental Europe?!
